Based on the support of Fr. Chris, our parish leaders, and a survey conducted at all Masses, we’ve updated our Master Plan and developed a proposed course of action that will help us meet our most pressing needs and serve our church well today as well as into the future.  As a first step, our plans include clearing room on our site and removing the pole barn and bazaar kitchen buildings, constructing a new, larger church with expanded and appropriate support areas such as the new St. Vincent DePaul facility with additional storage and use of the existing pavilion and increasing parking.

Enlarged and Enhanced Worship Space

We will be able to seat 800 people comfortably with the opportunity of expanding it to seat 1,000 people.

•    Our plan will provide necessary space capable of seating our growing youth community together, which is important to their future and the continued growth of their faith. It will enable us to have weekly Youth Mass for all of our youth that are in formation and their families. This will make available more opportunities to our youth to experience God’s love, learn our Catholic faith together and develop new friendships based in faith.

•    We would also include new liturgical furnishings, including an ambo, altar and presiders chair that are more prominent and in line with the current guidelines for liturgy and how they are used to share the presence of God in the Word and Eucharist.

•    It is also realistic that a more substantial predella (the raised altar platform) will be added to help all better see and participate in Mass.

•    Our plans include a well-designed sound system that will eliminate our current sound problems. This will enhance the worship experience and immediately help with the liturgy experience.

•    With the larger nave there will be a new permanent and more prominent baptistery area and Baptismal font so that people will see and be reminded that it is the cleansing waters of Baptism that welcomes us into our faith.  This space will also allow more people to participate simultaneously in the Sacrament of Baptism.

•    Finally, we would include a more dignified space for the tabernacle that is worthy for the reservation of the Body of Christ and for adoration.

Larger More Appropriate Support Areas

•    Immediately outside of the worship space there would be an enlarged Narthex and Gathering Space where our parishioners and visitors can literally and figuratively connect, meet and greet, and get to know one another better before and after liturgies, weddings and funerals, as well as other special and sacred celebrations held in our church.  Such a space will tremendously enhance people’s feelings of connectedness with others in our family of faith and will dramatically and positively impact unity in our parish community.  The larger narthex will also buffer those in the sanctuary, allowing for quiet meditation.  Finally, the new narthex will serve as a great place to display and distribute important information about various parish support services and upcoming activities and events.

•    A new Daily Chapel is also proposed within this new space that will be an intimate and sacred space.  This chapel will be an ideal place to hold various smaller liturgies for up to 100 people, including daily Mass, weddings, funerals and quinceañeras, helping us avoid having to raise and lower the temperature in the main church for these purposes. The chapel will also provide the ideal space for Masses needing additional overflow seating. This chapel will also have its own separate entrance, easily accessible from the main parking lot that will be an excellent, intimate place for Exposition of the Blessed Sacrament.  

•    The Daily Chapel will also serve as a special Quiet Family Room during larger services to provide our youngest members and their parents a reverent space where parents can see and hear to better participate in Mass while they quietly tend to their children.

•    A new Choir will give the choir the proper space they need to enhance the liturgy and contribute to the spiritual growth of the parish.

•    New Vesting and Working Sacristies will provide our priest, altar servers and other ministers of our liturgies with a proper and appropriate place to prepare.

•    To meet the needs of our growing church and growing families, we’ll include larger, more central and accessible Restrooms with changing stations.

•    A special area for Families, Bridal Parties, and Quinceañeras to gather in private prior to funerals, weddings, and quinceañeras and any other sacred celebrations will be available. It will be a shared space with the ministers / ushers rooms.

•    Also included could be a designated area for our Religious Articles Sales.

•    Finally, to further accommodate the growing number of members worshiping with us, we would add new Parking spaces, including additional handicapped spaces for those members and visitors needing close and easy access to church.

Nuestros Planes

Basado en el soporte del Padre Chris, los líderes de nuestra comunidad, las encuestas que se han realizado con todos los parroquianos, se ha actualizado el Plan Maestro y se ha desarrollado un plan de acción que nos ayudara a solucionar las necesidades más apremiantes para así poder servir a nuestra Iglesia hoy y con vista en el futuro. Como primer paso, nuestros planes incluyen remover los edificios en donde se construirá la futura Iglesia. Estos son el granero rojo y la cocina usada para el bazar, la construcción de una Iglesia más grande la cual tenga las aéreas necesarias, un lugar para el dispensario de San Vicente de Paul, aéreas adicionales para bodegas de almacenamiento, uso del pabellón actual y un área más grande para estacionamiento.

Una Iglesia más grande

Tendremos la capacidad para acomodar 800 personas cómodamente con la oportunidad de expandirse para 1.000 personas.

• Nuestro plan nos permitirá el espacio necesario de crecer en acuerdo con nuestra creciente comunidad joven, lo cual es importante para el futuro y para su crecimiento en la fe. Nos permitirá celebrar la misa semanal para jóvenes acompañados de sus familias respectivas. Esto también ayudara a nuestros jóvenes a vivir la experiencia del amor de Dios, a aprender nuestra Fe más profundamente y a desarrollar relaciones de amistad basada en la Fe.

• También nos permitirá incluir el mobiliario necesario para las liturgias, incluyendo el pulpito, altar, las sillas para los celebrantes de acuerdo con las normas y guías para la liturgia, para así poder compartir la presencia de Dios en la palabra y en la Eucaristía correctamente.

• También será una realidad que la plataforma en alto para el altar sea añadida para ayudar a que sea más fácil ver y participar de la misa.

• Nuestro plan incluye un sistema de sonido bien diseñado el cual eliminara los problemas que actualmente tenemos con el sistema de sonido existente. Esto mejorara nuestra experiencia litúrgica y ayudara a la participación más activa en la misma.

• Con una nave central más grande en la Iglesia, podremos contar con un área para Bautismos permanente, la cual incluya una fuente bautismal, para que al verla, los fieles se acuerden del poder purificador del agua que nos dio la bienvenida en nuestro bautismo. Este espacio también permitirá que más gente participe en los bautismos, más de cerca.

• Finalmente, incluiremos un espacio más grande y digno para el tabernáculo en donde se guardan el Cuerpo de Cristo y para adoración de la Eucaristía.

Áreas y Salones multiuso más apropiadas y grandes

• Tendremos un área más grande a la entrada de la Iglesia (Nártex) que acomode mejor a los fieles y visitantes y les permita saludar, platicar tener la oportunidad de conocerse antes y después de las celebraciones litúrgicas, como la misa, bodas, funerales, y cualquier otro tipo de celebración litúrgica. Este espacio mejorara muchísimo la oportunidad de conectarse y conocerse con todos los miembros de nuestra comunidad de Fe traduciéndose esto en más unidad entre los miembros de nuestra comunidad. Siendo esta área más grande, también beneficiara a que los fieles no distraían a aquellos que desean permanecer en oración en la Iglesia. Finalmente este nuevo Nártex servirá también para poder poner y distribuir información importante sobre la Iglesia, los eventos, liturgias, avisos, etc.

• Una Capilla se incluye en el nuestro plan, a unos pasos de la nave central de nuestra iglesia, la cual proveerá un espacio intimo y sagrado. Sera ideal para celebrar liturgias con menos gente (hasta 100) incluyendo Misa, bodas, funerales, quinceañeras; evitando el uso completo de la Iglesia, y proveyendo un ahorro en el uso del aire acondicionado. La capilla también podrá ser usada como lugar extra para esas ocasiones en que la Iglesia se llene. Esta capilla tendrá una entrada independiente a la Iglesia, con fácil acceso desde el estacionamiento y será un lugar excelente para la adoración Eucarística.

• La Capilla también sirviera como un espacio especial para padres con niños y les proveerá a los padres un reverente espacio donde puedan participar mejor en la misa mientras tranquilamente tienden a sus hijos.

• Una nueva área de coro dará al coro el espacio adecuado que necesitan para mejorar la liturgia y contribuir al crecimiento espiritual de la parroquia.

• Nueva sacristía y vestidores proveerá a los celebrantes, sacerdotes, monaguillos, diáconos y otros ministros que participan de la liturgia, un espacio adecuado para prepararse como mandan las reglas de la liturgia.

• Para satisfacer las necesidades de una Iglesia en crecimiento, se incluirán baños más grandes y más accesibles con estaciones para cambiar pañales.

• Un área especial para Familias, Bodas y Quinceañeras también será disponible en este nuevo proyecto. En ellos se podrán reunir las personas y familias que celebran el evento con la privacidad que el evento requiera. Esta área será compartida con el de los ministros / acomodadores.

• También se incluirá un área que podría ser designada para artículos religiosos.

• Finalmente, para poder acomodar un mayor número de fieles que atienden a las celebraciones, se aumentaran el número de espacios de estacionamiento, incluyendo espacios para Desvalidos, espacios para aquellos miembros que necesitan un acceso fácil y cerca de la Iglesia.
