School Campus Improvements

Anticipated cost: $2,250,000

New Multi-Use/Multi-User Learning Resource Center 

The new learning resource center will be available for use by the school, youth and adult education classes, and the entire parish community.

• The center will combine the elements of a traditional library with computer workstations and other technology. 
• It will include our religious education resources, reading, reference and other materials.
• An archive area will house church and school artifacts and memorabilia including St. Mary’s Academy yearbooks.
• There will be three breakout rooms for small-group learning, study, and meetings.  

New Multi-Use/Multi-User School Campus Chapel

The new chapel will be constructed to match our church’s design, making it easily identifiable as part of the St. Joseph Catholic community. It is important to visually and symbolically connect our church and school even though they are physically separate.

• All 250 school students will be able to attend all-school Masses in a reverential environment conducive to prayer and praise of God.
• The new chapel will provide more efficient and intimate worship space for daily Masses, Eucharistic adoration, small weddings, funerals, baptisms, and other sacred and special celebrations. It also will offer the perfect Catholic faith learning environment for our children.

Church Campus Improvements

Anticipated cost: $250,000

If we have sufficient funding, we plan to complete these more minor, but still needed church campus improvements.

New Church Carpeting 

We will replace the church carpeting for safety and for an updated, refreshed look for our beautiful worship space.

New Hearing Impaired Equipment

A new hearing loop system will assist our parishioners and visitors with hearing impairments to hear more easily everything that is both said and sung at Mass and other sacred and special celebrations in our church. 

These wireless devices work with hearing aids and all cochlear implants to produce clear sound without feedback or background noise. Consisting of only three parts, an amplifier, microphone, and very thin loop wire, hearing loops create a magnetic field that is picked up by any t-coil equipped hearing aid and converted to audible sound.

New Rectory Windows 

We plan to replace all of the worn out rectory windows with custom fit, much more energy-efficient windows.
