Facility Improvements
$395,000
Our recently completed Planning Study showed that taking care of our building’s infrastructure and maintenance issues is our members’ top priority.
- Boiler System: we will install an efficient new boiler and boiler control system with worship space and educational facility temperature controls.
- Masonry Tuckpointing: exterior mortar, joints, and bricks will be repaired.
- Exterior Digital Sign: a new sign on 6th Street will invite people to services and announce events.
- Interior Signage: new signs will assist navigation within our facilities.
Contingency Fund
$130,000
We will establish an adequate contingency fund for expected and unexpected expenses.
Debt Retirement
$325,000
We plan to retire our debt so that we can redirect the principal and interest payments to other ministry and mission outreach areas.
- Programming: improve our educa-tional programs, music ministry, and elderly member services.
- Scholarships: provide scholarships for camps and conferences.
- Outreach: improve outreach efforts to our local community and beyond.
- End of Payments: we can celebrate the end of years of mortgage and interest payments.
- Future Stability: we will create firm financial footing so we can continue to serve “at the corner of church and community” for many years to come.
Worship Improvements
$150,000
We want to make our worship services exceptional and accessible to all.
Hearing Assistance System Upgrades
- The Sanctuary will get additional hearing assistance devices.
- We will install a hearing loop and purchase an adequate supply of assistance devices for the CLC.
Livestreaming Capabilities
The CLC will get livestream cameras and equipment to enable people anywhere to watch our services online.
Fund & Plan for Sanctuary Internet and Audio-Visual Equipment
Funds will be allocated for Sanctuary internet and audio-visual equipment. A new planning group will determine the best way to incorporate them without disturbing the space’s reverence.
New Hymnals & Bibles
When made available, we will buy the 2020 release of the United Methodist Hymnal for the Sanctuary. We also will replenish our pew Bibles.
