The gift amounts listed do not necessarily reflect the actual cost of the opportunity listed but approximate the actual cost of the opportunity and factor in its value, visibility, prominence and our campaign's needs and community's gift abilities. Naming rights for capital items that are given, where applicable, will extend for up to twenty years depending on the item's useful life. Naming and recognition rights will be granted once payment for the opportunity is fully received. Donors of these opportunities will have their names and the names of those they are honoring commemorated in a special way, as will all campaign gift donors.
GIVING OPTIONS
To ensure that we reach our objectives and potential, we ask you to consider special gifts over and above your regular contributions. You can give campaign gifts in different ways:
Long-Term Pledges are payable over three years and may be paid in monthly, quarterly, semi-annual, or annual installments by cash, credit card, or direct deposit. A 10% or more initial investment is requested.
Non-Cash Gifts* include gifts in kind such as labor and materials; securities such as stocks, bonds or gifts through qualified charitable distributions such as IRA rollovers; real estate such as marketable land, homes, vacation homes, and rental or commercial properties; or valuable personal property such as precious metals, gems, jewelry, artwork, collectibles and even new or slightly used and classic automobiles, watercraft, and motor homes.
Deferred Gifts* can be arranged for now but not received until later. Some examples are new or fully paid-up life insurance policies, certain trust arrangements, and gifts made through a person’s will by bequest.
Matching Gifts may be a possibility too. In fact, if you serve on the board, work for, or have retired from a company that matches the charitable gifts, you may be able to double or even triple your gift to our cause and church. So, check with the company whose board you serve on, you work for or have retired from to see if they match gifts to causes like ours.
*All non-cash and deferred gifts must be approved by the church before acceptance.
